This week we are aboard the MSC Poesia. MSC stands for Mediterrian Shipping Company and has been on the cruise side of the industry for nearly a decade. Prior to getting into cruising, MSC operates over 400 container ships. Currently, they have one ship seasonally in the Caribbean. We interview the Cruise Director, Deputy Purser and a few passengers on this episode. We also go into detail about dining, entertainment and public areas aboard the ship.

Earlier this week the Carnival Cruise Line’s ship “Carnival Splendor” suffered an engine fire which left the ship helpless at sea until the US Navy and the tugs arrived. We chat with two passengers from that sailing and Cruise Expert Stewart Chiron the Cruise Guy. The passengers recall how professional the staff and Cruise Director John Heald was during the incident (fire) at sea.
